Stay Fit This Summer

During the summer months, between the high temperatures and busy schedules packed with picnics, parties, and vacations, staying on a regular exercise regimen can be challenging. There are nearly countless distractions that can pull even the most dedicated workout enthusiast off course, from sugar and calorie-laden libations like piña coladas and margaritas, to a strong desire to hit the beach and relax rather than engage in a strenuous workout. There are also seemingly endless things to do, despite many offices keeping “summer Friday” schedules. Summer is often a very busy time, especially for women, who must juggle extra parenting duties with kids being off from school as well. Prioritizing family over self is a common theme for moms. Moderation is the key factor to rightfully enjoying all the fun activities of summer, while still being mindful of continuing exercise routines.
