The “Right” Way to Nap

For most people, going to bed at the end of a day is a natural, habitual pattern. Many of us follow the same routine, whether it involves taking a shower, reading a book, or watching TV beforehand. In most instances, it doesn’t even register that some of our activities might not be the “best” way to unwind before bed. Naps are typically viewed in the same way—we lie down for however much time we have to spare, without much thought. However, this is not always the most effective or even the healthiest way to nap, according to experts.
