Holiday Hacks: Tips to Avoid Overeating

If you tend to let loose during the holidays, you’re probably used to the weight gain that tends to come with it. Don’t let shedding those pesky seasonal pounds be another thing on your New Years’ resolution list. Instead, remember a few things you can do to stay on track through the holidays. If you know your holiday feast is going to be a big one, try eating a small, healthy meal beforehand to tide you over before the party so you can avoid getting too hungry and eating too much. All of that eggnog can add a lot more excess calories than you think, so limiting your holiday drink intake and opting for healthier alternatives instead can also make a big difference. Another good tip to follow at holiday parties is to make sure that everything you eat, including dessert, fits on one plate.
